Mansfield Open Studio Trail - Quilt display.

 

 

After a quick change of venue due to a covid - 19 restriction,  we had a lovely display of members and quilt for kids with cancer at Wendy Jagger's Studio at 36 Dundas Crt Mansfield.

Quilts were hung from the veranda and and the quilts fluttered in the breeze.  The expected rain stayed away.

 Here a a couple of quilt for children with cancer made by Lyn and these and more will be on display on October 31st and 1st of November as part of the MANSFIELD OPEN STUDIO TRAIL.

Dean from the Delatite hotel with Amanda.  We made some cheeky mask for the hotel staff.

 

Reusable cloth face masks

 With the uncertainty of Covid 19 it looked like we might not be able to run our raffle to raise funds for our Quilts for kids with cancer project.    So we decided would would make a few face masks instead. 

So with the suggestion and assistance of Natalie from Machindi's hair salon we started sewing and selling face masks.  Our target is about 200.
